Andrea Berta Prefers Arsenal Over Milan
Journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that the Italian Andrea Berta will be the new sporting director at Arsenal FC, succeeding Brazilian Edu.
He revealed that Berta, the former sporting director of Atlético Madrid, who left his position last January, preferred Arsenal's offer over that of AC Milan.
Berta had worked with Atlético for 12 years, most of which were as sporting director, and he played a significant role in building a strong team for the Madrid club over the past years.
Before that, the 53-year-old Berta worked as a sporting director for three Italian clubs: Carpenedolo, Genoa, and Parma, experiences that laid the foundation for his subsequent successes.
