Latest Developments on Lionel Messi's Condition
Thursday 13-03-2025
One week before the World Cup qualifying matches resume, Argentine star Lionel Messi traveled to Jamaica with his team Inter Miami.

This comes after he missed three consecutive matches with his team due to overload (he was called up for the last match but did not play), and now Messi is preparing to add minutes in the return match against Cavalier in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

The legend will be looking for his best form in the lead-up to the challenging World Cup qualifying round, where the world champions will face Uruguay and then their eternal rivals, the Brazil national team.

Before the trip to Kingston, the capital of the Central American country, his coach Javier Mascherano clarified: "Leo is on the list, and he will travel, and once we arrive, we will decide whether to start him in the match or have him come on as a substitute; today he completed training with the group, and the feelings were very good."
