A German newspaper report today, Wednesday, stated that Germany national team player and Bayern Munich's Leroy Sané is likely to return to the Premier League.
According to information from Bild, Arsenal wants to sign the Ghanaian-born player for free when his contract with Bayern expires in the summer.
The 29-year-old former Schalke and Manchester City player does not appear to be reaching an agreement with the Bavarian club on a new contract and is already close to leaving their ranks.
The report emphasized that Spanish manager Mikel Arteta of the Gunners is very much in favor of signing Sané, with whom he previously worked when they were at Manchester City.
