The Libyan Football Federation has officially announced the appointment of Senegalese Aliou Cisse, who left his position with his national team months ago, as the head coach of the Libyan national team until 2027. 

According to the statement, the new coach will be presented to the media officially on March 13 in Tripoli before embarking on his journey with the Mediterranean Knights.

Cisse has achieved remarkable successes with the Senegal national team, leading them to win the Africa Cup, qualify for the World Cup, and reach the Round of 16.

It is worth noting that Libyan football is currently experiencing significant development, as clubs in the league have recently made important signings.
