Former Al-Hilal Official Criticizes the Club's Management Over Van Dijk
Tuesday 11-03-2025
Abdul Karim Al-Jasser, a former member of Al-Hilal's board of directors, criticized the club's management for placing Liverpool star Van Dijk at the top of their priorities for signing him ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Al-Jasser stated on the platform "X": "Al-Hilal has the funds and a green light to strengthen its squad since the winter transfer period... but the officials find it difficult to make a decision, waiting for illusory promises that will become clear as the tournament approaches, only to find themselves in a real predicament with time running out!"

He continued: "There is a crazy Swedish striker similar to Mitrovic, younger, and a top scorer who can play alongside or in the absence of Mitrovic. He is a goal-scoring player that Jesus strongly wants... but where is the decision?"

He concluded: "For your information, Van Dijk is refusing and prioritizing Liverpool, and he will not come, but the officials have long patience and are willing to take risks on something uncertain."
