Al-Ghandour Heads to Tunisia to Officiate the Esperance vs. Chebba Match

The Egyptian Football Association announced that international referee Ahmed Al-Ghandour will head to Tunisia this evening, Tuesday, to officiate the match between Esperance Sportive and Chebba, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the Tunisian league matches.

Al-Ghandour's trip to Tunisia comes despite being part of the officiating team for the high-profile match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, where he is set to take charge of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the match scheduled to kick off at 9:30 PM as part of the first round of the Egyptian Premier League's championship phase.

The Football Association clarified in its official statement that the Egyptian officiating team for the Esperance vs. Chebba match includes:

Ahmed Al-Ghandour (Main Referee)

Youssef Al-Basati (First Assistant)

Sherif Abdullah (Second Assistant)

The appointment of the Egyptian officiating team comes at the request of the Tunisian Football Federation, with the referees expected to travel late this evening in preparation for the match.
