The Air Force team achieved an important victory against Nawruz with a score of 1-0 in the 23rd round of the Iraqi Stars League.

After this goal, Nawruz tried to equalize and succeeded in doing so in the 1+45 minute through player Rastko, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
