Simakan: We Are Not Satisfied with the Result
Mohammed Simakan, player of Al-Nassr, spoke about his team's bad feeling after the draw against Al-Shabab last Friday.
The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab, held as part of the 24th round of the Saudi Professional League, ended in a positive draw of 2-2.
Simakan said via Saudi channel "SSC" after the match: "It's a very bad feeling not to win. We tried to maintain the result, but we didn't have opportunities to win, and thus we are not satisfied with the result."
He clarified: "We have to keep fighting to climb the standings because we want to be in the Champions League for the new season."
Simakan added: "We also have an important return match against Esteghlal, and we hope for the fans' support to win the match, and we will give them everything to make them happy."
Regarding the mistakes made by his team recently, he said: "These are situations that happen in football, and every time I say we have to deal with these mistakes."
He continued: "Against Al-Shabab, we tried to come back in the match even though we were only 10 players, and we had chances to score but we didn't convert them, and we will work on focusing in the upcoming period."
