Robert Renan, a player for Saudi Al-Shabab, confirmed that he has admired Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo since childhood, following the match between Al-Shabab and Al-Nassr that ended in a 2-2 draw in the 24th round of the Saudi league.
Renan stated in remarks published by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper: "Ronaldo is a great player, I have been a fan of his since my childhood, but I believe that my admiration for him does not affect anything on the field."
He confirmed: "The Al-Shabab team is working hard under the leadership of coach Fatih Terim, and the goal now is to focus on winning the upcoming matches."
The Brazilian player denied any issues within the team, affirming that the players are focused on one goal, which is to win the King's Cup.
