Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus of Al-Hilal Saudi Club substituted defender Ali Al-Bulaihi in the 39th minute of the match against Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor, bringing in player Mohammed Kanno instead.

In this regard, Thamer Al-Shahrani, a physiotherapist, revealed the details of Ali Al-Bulaihi's injury through his account on the social media platform 'X', which prevented him from completing the match against Pakhtakor.

Al-Shahrani explained that Al-Bulaihi's injury is muscular, and there is no clear footage of the injury, but it could be related to the adductor or hamstring muscles he has been complaining about, after the player requested to leave the field directly without the medical staff's intervention.

The specialist indicated that Al-Bulaihi was likely complaining about this issue prior to the Pakhtakor match, and the staff was aware of it, so as soon as he expressed discomfort, he was substituted.

Al-Hilal suffered a harsh defeat at the hands of Pakhtakor, losing by a single goal this evening in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League.
