
The Expected New Sporting Director of Arsenal Revealed
Journalist Simon Collings has revealed the name of the new sporting director expected at Arsenal FC to succeed Brazilian Edu.
According to Collings, the new name is Italian Andrea Berta, the former sporting director of Spanish club Atlético Madrid, who left his position last January.
Berta had worked with Atlético for 12 years, most of which as sporting director, and did a great job in building a team for the Madrid club.
Prior to that, Berta, who is 53 years old, served as sporting director for three Italian clubs: Carpineto, Genoa, and Parma.
