Real Madrid Club announced in an official statement about the injury of defender Jesus Vallejo, and his absence for the upcoming period.
The club said: "After the examinations conducted on our player Jesus Vallejo by the medical services of Real Madrid, he was diagnosed with an injury to the hamstring muscle in his left leg."
The Spanish defender is expected to be out for several weeks due to this injury.
Vallejo has not participated with the royal team this season, and it is expected that he will leave for free next summer after the end of his contract.
