The English club Liverpool is seeking to enter strongly in the race to contract with Swedish striker Alexander Isak, Newcastle United star, during the 2025 summer transfer window, amid the interest of major European clubs such as Arsenal and Barcelona.

According to a report issued by the "Football Insider" network, Liverpool is studying the possibility of including its Uruguayan striker, Darwin Nunez, in a reciprocal deal with Newcastle, as the club seeks to enhance the offensive line, especially after Nunez was unable to prove himself as a key striker.

Liverpool is estimated at about 60 million pounds, while Izak has a contract with Newcastle that extends until the summer of 2028, which may make the deal complicated in light of the interest of more than one club in the services of the Swedish striker.

Izak played 23 games with Newcastle in the Premier League this season, and he managed to score 17 goals and make 5 goals, confirming his position as one of the most prominent strikers in the Premier League.
