Monza returns Alessandro Nesta to the position of coach
The Italian club Monza announced today, Monday, the return of coach Alessandro Nesta to lead the first team, after the dismissal of Salvatori Bokti due to the continued negative results.
The club issued an official statement saying: "We decided to exempt Salvatori Boukiti from his duties as a coach for the first team, and we thank him for his efforts and we wish him success in his career, and we officially announce the return of Alessandro Nesta to lead the team again, good luck Alessandro."
Monza dismissed Nesta on December 23, 2024, after a series of disappointed results, as he led the team in 20 games, during which he achieved only 3 wins, compared to 7 draws and 10 defeats, which led to the team's retreat at the bottom of the ranking.
The return of Nesta came by a decision of the CEO Adriano Galliani, after the weak performance continued under Boukiti, as Monza is currently in the last place in the Italian League with 13 points from 24 games.
