Espanyol player comments on Mbappe's snapshot
Espanyol player Carlos Romero commented on his intervention on Real Madrid player Killian Mbappe, in the match between the two teams, in the Spanish League.
Romero entered from behind Mbappe in one of the counterattacks in the 60th minute, before the referee declared the yellow card in the face of Espanyol.
Real Madrid players and the technical staff demanded that Romero expel the red card, while the mouse did not interfere in the shot.
Romero said: "I knew it was impossible to stop Killian when he ran at his maximum speed, I stopped him with the best of what I could. It was a little ugly and I didn't like it and I apologized for it," Romero said.
It is noteworthy that Romero scored the winning goal for Espanyol in the 85th minute.
