Zakho includes the Iraqi Gilawan Hamad

Zakho Club has officially announced its contract with the Iraqi player "Gilwan Hamad" from the Hong Kongi League, as part of the current winter transfer window.

Gilwan Hamad, born in Sweden in 1990, is one of the most prominent Iraqi players who have had successful professional experiences in Europe and Asia.

Hamad started his professional career with the Swedish club Malmo, where he achieved prominent local successes, before moving to the German League to represent the Hoffenheim team, as he played in several other clubs, including the Swedish Hamarbi, the South Korean Uniony Yunatid and other clubs in Hong Kong and Croatia.

On the international level, such as Gilawan Hamad, the Swedish national team in different age groups, before deciding to represent the Iraq national team, he played his first match with Al -Rafidain Lions in 2021 and showed a remarkable performance that reflects his professional experience.

Zakho club management contracted with "Gilwan Hamad" with the recommendation of the coach to the Qatari team, Talal Ali Al -Balushi, in a move aimed at strengthening the team's offensive midfield, and the club also concluded another important deal by contracting with "Ahmed Yassin", which reflects the club's ambition to improve its position in the ranking ladder.
