The Portuguese Jorge Jesus, Al Hilal coach, spoke about the Brazilian professional Neymar da Silva remaining with the Blue Team until the end of his contract.
Jesus confirmed in his statement after the recent Al-Hilal and Al-Fateh match, that Neymar will not be registered on the local roster participating in the Saudi Roshen League and King’s Cup competitions.
With a new statement, Jesus said regarding Neymar’s situation, that he wants to rely on the player in the elite AFC Champions League tournament this season.
He said: “I want to rely on Neymar in the elite AFC Champions League and the 2025 Club World Cup, and it is up to him in the end.”
The Al Hilal coach added, saying: “Neymar not being registered in the league list does not mean that I do not want him.”
He concluded: “I know that Neymar suffered from an injury for a long time and is finding it very difficult to recover, and I am in a difficult situation as I cannot register him on Al Hilal’s list.”
