Thursday 16-01-2025

FIFA imposed a penalty on the Tunisian club Esperance Sports Club by depriving it of registering and recruiting new players during the current winter transfer period. The penalty came due to the club’s delay in paying the amount of a previous penalty in favor of the Jordanian player Muhammad Abu Zureiq Sharara.

Although Esperance paid 2 million dinars as a previous penalty, the delay in transferring the amount to the FIFA account led to the imposition of this new penalty. The penalty was imposed on the club due to a dispute with the Jordanian player.

Esperance club management is currently seeking to settle this issue with FIFA as soon as possible, in order to lift the penalty and return the club. To the transfer market, the team aims to strengthen its ranks in preparation for the next stage of the season.

In light of the sanctions, Esperance is seeking to conclude new deals, and one of the most prominent names targeted is the player Mohamed Al-Muhali. , which plays in the Premier League The Belgian second with RFC Liège.
