Yamal sets a new record
Spanish national team star Lamine Yamal achieved two new records during his country's match against France, in the semi-finals of the European Nations Cup "Euro 2024".
Yamal scored a goal. The tie was in favor of the Spanish national team, while La Roja was trailing with a goal scored by Kolo Mwani, then Spain added a second goal through an own goal by Koundé.
According to the French network “Squawka” Yamal became the youngest player to score in a Euro semi-final at the age of 16 years and 362 days.
It is noteworthy that Yamal also became the youngest player to participate in a Euro/World Cup semi-final.
