Mariska: We gave everything to win, but we must be more decisive
Chelsea club coach, Enzo Maresca, appeared in important press statements following the draw against Crystal Palace, in the twentieth round of the English Premier League, with a score of 1/1.
He added: "Two or three weeks ago, we were talking about the title race as we know that Newcastle and Aston Villa will be in the competition, as well as City, for me. It's not about the schedule, it's about how to improve things."
He continued: "For me all the players were good today, but if I had to choose one, Josh was the best player. He can become a big player for this club. We decided to play him today because we saw that he is ready. And today he showed us how good he is.”
He continued: “Even if we did not decide to buy players or sell players, we already knew that Josh was good enough, but with Badyachel’s injury And Wesley, we'll see if we can achieve something."
He pointed out: "After September, this is the first time we've had a full week now between matches. We have a chance to work this week and prepare for the FA Cup match, and then again for the league “English Premier League.”
Regarding Nicholas Jackson, he said: “For a striker, sometimes he scores every chance and sometimes he does not score. Today he had two or three clear chances, and this means He is present and ready. We hope he will be more fortunate next time.”
He concluded his speech: “The important thing is creating opportunities, because that means we are doing things right. But then we must take advantage of those opportunities.”
