Hani Ramzy, former star of Egyptian football, confirmed that Al-Ahly has a chance to surpass the first round in the Club World Cup 2025.

Ramzy said during the program "L'Jeu et l'Autre" on Radio "Mega FM": "I am very optimistic about Al-Ahly's participation, and we have chances for Al-Ahly to pass the first round."

He added: "The beginning is always difficult, and this version is different, and the players will feel some pressure at the start of the match against Inter Miami, but after that, things will be fine."

He continued: "Ribeiro tested all the players in the friendly match against Pachuca, and I believe that Kouka is the closest to leading the left flank against Miami, and it is possible for Dary to play alongside Yasser Ibrahim, and Tahr Mohamed Tahr has a greater chance against Miami instead of Zizo."

He added: "Zizo is not physically ready and needs more time, so Tahr could be a starter against Inter Miami, and the speed in imposing ideas on the new coach is a negative, not a positive, and Ribeiro is still studying Al-Ahly's players."

Hani Ramzy concluded: "Ribeiro's playing style needs more time to implement, and we need Ribeiro to be realistic in performance and his preparation for the match, and Al-Ahly is capable of surpassing the first round of the Club World Cup."
