Pietrus: I Hope Al-Ittihad Wins the Saudi League
The Brazilian Pietrus Matheus, current player for Al-Akhidood and former representative of Al-Nassr, expressed his hope for Al-Ittihad to win the title of the current edition of the Roshan Saudi League 2024-25.
The competition is heating up between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal in the final and decisive rounds of the current Saudi league season.
Al-Ittihad currently leads the Roshan League standings with 65 points, ahead of Al-Hilal in second place by 4 points.
For his part, Pietrus stated in a media interview regarding the rivalry between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal: "Al-Nassr is far from winning the title this season."
He added: "I hope Al-Ittihad wins the Saudi league title in the end, because I am a Nasrawi, and it is difficult for Al-Nassr to win the title."
