samedi 19-04-2025
The Japanese club Yokohama has made an emergency coaching change just days before the highly anticipated match against Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr in the quarter-finals of the 2024-25 AFC Champions League.

Yokohama announced the dismissal of its English coach Steve Holland after a 3-2 loss to Shimizu S-Pulse on Wednesday, which saw the team drop to 19th place in the Japanese league.

Yokohama has appointed Australian Patrick Kisnorbo, Holland's assistant, as the interim coach for the upcoming period.

Yokohama will travel to Saudi Arabia to face Al-Nassr, led by coach Stefano Pioli, in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League on Saturday, April 26.
