Al Ahly Requests to CAF Before Facing Sundowns

Al Ahly officials have made an important request to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ahead of their match against South Africa's Sundowns tomorrow afternoon, as part of the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.

According to sources, Al Ahly's management sent an official letter to CAF to ensure the team's delegation is protected from any potential violence from Sundowns' fans.

Reports indicated that Al Ahly's request to CAF came after the violent incidents that occurred during the match between Tunisian team Esperance and Sundowns in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals, where the Tunisian fans were attacked by the South African fans.

Sources clarified that Al Ahly's management requested that the entire team delegation be under the protection and security of CAF before and after tomorrow's match.
