Mohamed El-Shenawy: Sundowns is a Strong Opponent and the Match Will Be Difficult
Mohamed El-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of Al Ahly, confirmed that the match against Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa will be difficult.
Al Ahly will face Sundowns tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
Mohamed El-Shenawy said in the pre-match press conference: "Facing Sundowns is definitely tough; they are a strong opponent and have successfully recruited remarkable players."
He added: "There are two matches, one in Pretoria and the other in Cairo, and there is a great focus to deliver our best during tomorrow's match."
He concluded: "Al Ahly is a great club with 12 African titles, making it the second team in the world in terms of continental championships, and we respect all our opponents."
