According to 'Football Italia', French goalkeeper Mike Maignan has returned to full training after recovering from a head injury sustained during the match against Udinese.

According to UEFA protocol, the player underwent a 7-day rest before returning, and he is now largely ready to participate in Sunday’s match.

The training sessions also saw the return of Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez after a 13-day absence due to injury, and the report confirmed that Gimenez will be available against Atalanta, but he will start the match from the bench.

Milan currently occupies the ninth position in the Italian league standings with 51 points, while Atalanta is in third place with 61 points.
