Ahmed Shobir, the former star of Al Ahly, praised the Pyramids team, confirming that they have a great chance of winning against South Africa's Orlando Pirates.

Pyramids will face Orlando Pirates next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Shobir stated in radio remarks: "Pyramids will miss a very important player in the match against Orlando, which is Ibrahim Adel due to injury. He is a significant winger who knows how to score and is a very distinguished player."

He continued: "I believe that Pyramids' chances are stronger than Orlando's, and Pyramids' experience is greater than Orlando's. Statistically, Pyramids have a 60 percent chance against the South African champion."

Shobir added: "Pyramids has become one of the heavyweight teams in Egypt. Al Ahly couldn't beat them in both league matches, and they defeated Zamalek 3-0 in the first round. I see that the team has a golden opportunity to make history in Africa, but they need intense focus and determination."
