La Liga has announced the rescheduling of the match between Barcelona and Valladolid as part of the 34th round of La Liga, due to the Catalan team's participation in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League 2024/2025.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the match is now set to take place on Saturday, May 3rd instead of Sunday, May 4th, at 10 PM Cairo time, to give Barcelona more time to rest, amid the pressure of their upcoming match schedule.

This adjustment comes after Barcelona successfully qualified for the Champions League semi-finals, having overcome Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals, winning the first leg 4-0 and losing the second leg 3-1, securing their place to face Inter Milan, who eliminated Bayern Munich.

Barcelona is scheduled to face their rival Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on April 26, then meet Inter Milan in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals on April 30, before traveling to Giuseppe Meazza Stadium for the second leg on May 6.

Barcelona currently tops the La Liga standings with 70 points after 31 rounds, ahead of Real Madrid, who is in second place with 66 points.
