Tottenham Chairman Clarifies the Reality of Saudi Negotiations with Richarlison
Daniel Levy, the chairman of English club Tottenham Hotspur, denied the reports regarding negotiations with Saudi clubs for the Brazilian striker Richarlison during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Levy stated in his remarks: "There are no negotiations; it's just rumors, and I cannot comment further on that."
Richarlison, who is 27 years old, transferred to Tottenham in the summer of 2022 from Everton in a deal valued at £60 million, making it the most expensive transfer in the club's history at that time.
The player has suffered from a series of injuries during the current season, limiting his participation to just 16 matches across all competitions, in which he scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist.
Tottenham is preparing to face Eintracht Frankfurt this Thursday evening in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg in London.
