Hemam Al-Hemami, player of the Saudi national football team, suffered a sudden injury during the last group training sessions held in San Diego, USA.

The player sustained an ankle wound during the training sessions, which are part of the Saudi national team's preparations to face their Mexican counterpart in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Championship.

According to what was reported by the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", Hemam Al-Hemami was transferred to a nearby hospital to ensure his health condition, amid great concern from the technical and medical staff of the national team.

Medical sources close to the Green team confirmed that the injury is minor and does not require concern, which reassured the fans of the national team who expressed their worries about the player's participation in the upcoming match.

It is expected that Al-Hemami will leave normally with the national team delegation to Arizona, which enhances the possibility of his participation in the anticipated match against Mexico, despite the minor injury he sustained.
