Reports have revealed that Zamalek officials have communicated with Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, who is currently managing Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, to discuss the possibility of his return amid rumors of his potential departure from Saudi Arabia to take over at Al-Ahly.

According to sources, Zamalek officials have gauged Gomez's interest in returning to lead the team, and they also reached out to Ahmed Magdy, his assistant coach at Al-Fateh, to discuss the situation.

The reports stated that Gomez informed Zamalek officials that he is currently focused on Al-Fateh, which is competing in the final stages of the Saudi league.
