UAE National Team Announces New Coach
The UAE Football Association announced in an official statement the new coach of the national senior team, succeeding coach Paulo Bento, who was dismissed last March.
The UAE Association mentioned via its official account on X platform that the Romanian coach Cosmin Olaroiu will take over the national team in the upcoming period.
The association indicated in its statement that the Romanian coach signed a contract with the national team for two years, until 2027.
The UAE national team is currently in third place in Group A of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The UAE national team will play against Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the final rounds of the qualifiers next June.
