Statements of Sundowns Star Before Facing Al Ahly

Ikram Riners, a player for the South African team Sundowns, spoke about his team's match scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Ikram Riners stated in remarks to the South African website "FAR POST": "In every match, the motivation remains the same. The atmosphere in the camp is good, and for us as a team, we need to focus on one match at a time, especially after last weekend's conclusion."

He added: "There is always a chance to play another cup or another match in the league. Whatever happens, will happen. These are things we cannot control. But yes, we will continue to work hard until the end."

He continued: "For us, we need to prepare well this week. And for us as a team, we need to focus on winning the match on our home ground. Yes, the team is performing well. And this week has been good for us so far. So we look forward to Saturday. This is the right moment."

He added: "I came to Sundowns to win titles and compete in all competitions. We have the opportunity to move forward, especially in this important match this week, because we need to reach the final."
