Ahmed Shobeir, the former Al Ahly star, praised the Pyramids team, confirming that they have a great chance of winning against the South African team Orlando Pirates.

Pyramids will face Orlando Pirates next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Shobeir stated in radio comments: "Pyramids will miss a very important player in the match against Orlando, which is Ibrahim Adel due to injury; he is a heavy winger who knows how to score and is a very distinguished player."

He continued: "I see that Pyramids' chances are stronger than Orlando's chances, and Pyramids' experience is greater than Orlando's. Pyramids' chances are statistically 60 percent against the South African champion."

Shobeir added: "Pyramids has become one of the heavyweights in Egypt; Al Ahly couldn't beat them in both league matches, and they defeated Zamalek 3-0 in the first round. I believe the team has a golden opportunity to make history in Africa, but they need to focus intensely and show determination."
