Sundowns' Stance on Facing Al Ahly
Miguel Cardoso, the coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, spoke about the latest developments regarding the medical condition of his injured players and their status for the match against Al Ahly.
Al Ahly will face Sundowns next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
Cardoso stated in remarks reported by "IDiski Times": "Themba Zwane is still under close observation regarding the injury he is currently suffering from, and a final decision about his participation is expected to be made after the last training session tomorrow, Friday."
He added: "We have Lebo Mothiba who is still in the integration phase with the team for some time."
He continued: "Siabonga Mabena is also experiencing some pain, but he is in the recovery phase. Therefore, we will have more detailed information tomorrow about who will not be fully ready to participate in the match against Al Ahly."
He concluded: "We must ensure that everyone participates against Al Ahly, so we do not postpone this stage to the second leg of the semi-finals."
