Tottenham Chairman Clarifies the Truth About Saudi Negotiations for Richarlison

Daniel Levy, the chairman of English club Tottenham Hotspur, denied the reports that there were negotiations with Saudi clubs to acquire Brazilian forward Richarlison during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Levy stated in his remarks: "There are no negotiations, it's just rumors, and I cannot comment further on that."

Richarlison, 27, joined Tottenham in the summer of 2022 from Everton in a deal valued at £60 million, making it the most expensive transfer in the club's history at that time.

The player has struggled with a series of injuries during the current season, limiting his appearances to just 16 matches across all competitions, during which he scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist.

Tottenham is preparing to face Eintracht Frankfurt this Thursday evening in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg in London.
