Al-Ahly makes an offer worth 70 million to extend Akram Tawfiq’s contract
Al-Ahly club officials want to extend the contract of Akram Tawfiq, the team’s midfield player, which expires at the end of the current season.
According to press sources, Mohamed Ramadan, The sports director of Al-Ahly Club recently met with Akram Tawfiq, in order to know his requests to extend his contract with the team.
The sources indicated that Mohamed Ramadan offered Akram Tawfiq an extension. His contract With Al-Ahly for 5 years for 70 million pounds, or about 14 million pounds per season.
Press sources stressed that Akram wants his new contract to be no more than 3 years, with him being in the first category in terms of salary.
Also, Akram Tawfiq confirmed to Mohamed Ramadan his desire to remain among the team’s ranks and that he rejected all offers made to him over the past period.
