The General Assembly of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation approved, today, Thursday, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the next edition of the “Gulf 27” tournament in September 2026.
Where Saudi Arabia will host The Arabian Gulf Cup Championship for the fifth time in its history after the 1972, 1988, 2002, and 2014 editions.
It was decided to change the date of the Gulf Championship. From December and January to September, due to Saudi Arabia hosting the 2027 Asian Cup, with Iraq as an alternative.
The eyes of football fans everywhere will be directed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which It will host a number of important football tournaments in the coming years.
Perhaps the most prominent of these tournaments is hosting the Asian Cup in 2027 and the World Cup in 2034.
