Pioli and Thiati are waiting for the green light from the Federation

Italian coach Stefano Pioli, and Belgian Arthur Thiate, Rennes' French defender, are awaiting the final decision from Al-Ittihad Club regarding their contract during the current period.

Media reports confirmed that Al-Ittihad Club had reached a decisive agreement with coach Pioli to succeed Argentine Marcelo Gallardo as the team’s coach.

For his part, journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed through his account on the “X” platform, that Stefano Pioli and Arthur Thiati are waiting for the final green light to sign all documents with the Federation.

Romano said: “There are still discussions within Al-Ittihad Club. Thiati has completed the medical examination in Paris, but he is awaiting the club’s approval and the signing of contracts.”

He indicated that coach Stefano Pioli has been waiting since Wednesday for Al-Ittihad Club’s decision to officially sign the contracts.
