Press reports have appeared during the past hours, indicating that Wydad Sports Club wants to sign a contract with the Egyptian Al-Ahly duo during the winter transfer period, which begins next January.

Press reports stated that Wydad sent an official offer to its counterpart Al-Ahly in order to obtain the services of the duo Percy Tau and Reda Selim.

For his part, Hisham Ait, President of Wydad, denied that there was any contact with Al-Ahly, whether official or friendly, to include Percy Tau and Reda Slim through loan or purchasing contracts.

The president of Wydad confirmed that the hesitant reports about opening negotiations to include Tau and Salim are incorrect and are only nominations of agents.

For its part, the club wants Al-Ahly decided to get rid of the duo Tao and Salim in order to attract two other foreigners during the winter period to strengthen the team’s ranks.
