Collapse of the deal for a Villarreal player to join Al-Qadisiyah
Press reports confirmed the collapse of the deal for Spanish Villarreal player Victor Moreno to join Al-Qadisiyah of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said that negotiations between Villarreal and Al-Qadisiyah had reached a dead end due to the dispute over the duration of the player’s contract.
The newspaper explained that Moreno demanded that the contract period not exceed 3 years, while Al-Qadisiyah requested that he sign a 5-year contract.
Moreno participated in 25 matches with Villarreal B this season, scoring 3 goals and assisting one goal.
