Villarreal joins the race to sign the Al-Ahly star
A Spanish club entered into intense competition to include one of the Saudi Al-Ahly stars during the upcoming winter Mercato.
Sports journalist Akram Connor announced on the “X” platform that the Spanish club Villarreal is planning to begin negotiations to contract with Jabri Vega, the Al-Ahly star, next January.
Connor added that Villarreal would like to obtain the player's services on loan for a period of 6 months with an option to purchase next summer.
There are several clubs that want to include the Al-Ahly star, namely Atletico Madrid, Fiorentina, Tottenham, and Napoli.
Jabri Vega had joined Al-Ahly in the summer of 2023, coming from Celta Vigo, Spain, and played 39 matches with Al-Raqi, scoring 8 goals and assisting 5 others.
