Kohler targets signing a midfielder
Swiss Marcel Kohler, coach of Al-Ahly club, expressed his desire to strengthen the team’s midfield, with a strong deal during the summer transfers that will start next month.
According to press sources Kohler requested the inclusion of a midfielder to strengthen the team’s ranks this summer. He resembles Hamdi Fathi, the former player who moved last year to Al-Wakra of Qatar.
The sources indicated that, The Swiss wants the arrival of Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, the Hungarian player for Ferencvarosi, or Teboho Mokwena, the South African Sundowns player, to support the team’s midfield next season.
The sources stressed that Kohler is waiting for Al-Ahly club management to move to include Mokoena or Mohamed Ali bin Ramadan next summer, or another player at the same level as them.
Reports concluded that Kohler wants to strengthen the club’s midfield next season, due to the possibility of the departure of Mali Aliou Dieng, in addition to Amr Al-Soulia’s advanced age.
