The channel indicated that the duo, Ibrahim Adel and Ahmed Nabil Koka, will join the Egyptian Olympic team camp today, Friday, as agreed upon between Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahly and Pyramids.
The two players will leave the camp to play the match on July 12, and then return to travel to France to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the next day.
The Al-Ahly club refused to release any of its players to the Egyptian Olympic team, whether Mustafa Schubert, Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Yasser Ibrahim, or Imam Ashour.

This is due to the need for them in the remaining matches of the league championship, while Pyramids followed suit and refused to leave their player Mostafa Fathi for the same reason.
