The Frenchman Hervé Renard, coach of the Saudi national team, excluded player Abdullah Al-Khaibari, midfielder from Al-Nasr Square, from Al-Akhdar’s list that will compete in the Arabian Gulf Cup tournament “Gulf 26” in Kuwait.
The Saudi national team announced in an official statement, today, Thursday, that Renard had excluded Abdullah Al-Khaibari from the national team camp in Riyadh.
Al-Khaibari’s exclusion came in accordance with the report submitted by the national team’s medical staff, which showed the Al-Nasr player’s need for a treatment and rehabilitation program.
The Saudi national team is preparing to travel in the coming hours to Kuwait in order to participate in the Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held from December 21 to January 3, 2025.
