Press reports confirmed that Al-Nasr Saudi coach Stefano Pioli asked the Al-Global management to conclude strong deals in the upcoming winter Mercato.
Pioli took over the position of technical director of Al-Nassr after the start of the current season after the dismissal of Luis Castro due to poor results.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" said that Pioli asked the Al-Nasr administration to conclude several deals to strengthen the team in light of the challenges that the club will face after the end of the suspension period.
According to the newspaper, Pioli asked the Al-Nasr administration to include a foreign striker to compensate for the departure of Anderson Talisca, the team’s star.
