The Portuguese Jose Gomez, coach of the Saudi Al-Fateh Club, responded to the possibility of players from Zamalek transferring to his new team in the upcoming winter Mercato.


As Jose Gomez left Zamalek after requesting that his contract be terminated in order to return to training in the Saudi League again through the Al-Fateh portal.


Gomez said in a conference introducing the new Al-Fateh coach, today, Monday, when asked about the possibility of including players from Zamalek: “In general, I can bring any player.”

Regarding the reasons for his departure from Zamalek, he replied: “Because of my knowledge of Al-Fateh, its history, and its reputation, I canceled it.” My contract is with Zamalek, despite it having a large audience exceeding 40 million fans, but the Al-Fateh project was the one that encouraged me to leave it.”


Gomez concluded: “My current goal is to ensure Al-Fateh’s survival in the Saudi Roshen League, and my mission is to win the next match and then think about the next match.”
