Al-Ittihad is close to regaining its star defense

Al-Ittihad Club is close to restoring the services of its defender, Ahmed Sharahili, who has been absent from the field for a year and a half after injuring his cruciate ligament during his team’s match against Al-Fateh on a regular basis, in September 2023.

Ahmed Sharahili continues his rehabilitation program during the current Al-Ittihad camp in Dubai, UAE, in preparation for returning to group training.

According to press reports, Ahmed Sharahili trained with the ball in Al-Ittihad’s training session today, Sunday, as part of his rehabilitation program to return to training in the coming period.

Shrahili has fully recovered from the cruciate ligament injury, and the medical team is currently working on preparing the player to enter group training and then participate with the team in matches.

The Al-Ittihad team is preparing to meet Al-Hilal in the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, on the seventh of next January.
