The journalist Karim Hassan Shehata confirmed that Al-Ahly will impose a financial penalty on the team’s star, Imam Ashour.

Karim Hassan Shehata said that Emam Ashour refused to participate in taking the penalty kicks against Pachuca.
He continued on Al-Hayat channel: “Imam Ashour refused to participate in the penalty shootout, as Imam was supposed to shoot the sixth ball after Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed shot.”
Wazzad: “Imam felt that he could not shoot successfully, so he apologized for not shooting. I love this type of player. If she feels that she will harm the team, she apologizes.”
