Al-Ahly team lost to its Mexican counterpart, Pachuca, on penalties, with a score of 5-6, after the end of regular and extra time in a goalless draw, during the match that was held this Saturday evening, in the Challenge Cup.
After this loss, Al-Ahly’s next match comes against Algeria’s CS Belouizdad, which will be held at Cairo Stadium, within the third round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The match between Al-Ahly and Chabab Belouizdad will be on Sunday, December 22, at six in the evening Cairo time and seven in the evening Mecca time.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly occupies second place in the third group of the African Champions League, with 4 points, while CS Belouizdad is in third place with 3 points.
